how to make diseases disappear

Treating the causes of illness, not the symptoms

3rd July 2019 By admin Leave a Comment

This is a fantastic video featuring Rangan Chatterjee speaking at TedX in Liverpool. Here he talks about how to make disease disappear by treating the causes of illness, not the symptoms. For those who don’t know Rangan, he’s a GP in the UK, but is focussed not in symptom management but trying to understand why we are expressing a particular illness.

This is a must-see for anyone who is concerned about illnesses, such as diabetes, particularly as we get older. The message is the health services around the world are geared up to dealing with the symptoms of your illness. They are not trained to investigate WHY you have the disease – the root cause – in the first place, and even less know how to treating the cause.

We can end up on a merry go round of having a drug prescribed to us which treats the symptoms of our illness, but does nothing to address what’s actually wrong. The drug may have side effects, which leads to us using another drug to alleviate the side effects….and so it goes on.

What if we took time to find out how our own bodies work? What if we focussed on how to make disease disappear by treating the causes of illness, not the symptoms. Take a look:

If you want to follow Rangan, he has a fantastic podcast, which you can find here.

A healthy body starts with eating well, keeping fit and good supplementation! Our supplements are tailored for over 50s – take a look at our shop. Just click here
